Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 egg
  • 1 cup ripe banana, mashed
  • 3 Tbs milk, sour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
Directions
  1. Make sour milk by combining 1 tsp. lemon juice and enough milk to make 1/3 cup. Let sit 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. In Kitchenaid mixer:
    1. Cream butter and sugar.
    2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
    3. Stir in bananas and sour milk.
    4. Stir in baking soda, salt and flour.
    5. Blend in nuts.
  3. Bake in greased 9x5 loaf pan at 350F for 1 hour.
